Cavline Data
The foot-traffic feed behind the network,
available to enterprise.
Every Cavline screen sits next to a door sensor. The result is a live, anonymous picture of how real local businesses are used — occupancy right now, walk-ins by the hour, how long people stay, and who lives nearby. We make that feed available to partners, provisioned per agreement, through the request below.

What's in the feed
Six datasets, one venue at a time.
Live occupancy
How many people are inside a venue right now, and the day's peak — from door sensors, refreshed continuously.
Walk-ins by hour and day
Entries and exits bucketed by hour, day and week, with lifetime totals per venue.
Dwell time
Estimated minutes a visitor stays, derived from occupancy and arrival rate — not guessed.
Rush & slow hours
The busiest and quietest hours and days per venue, computed from the history.
Venue demographics
Census-based profile of the population around each screen: age, income, education, gender, foreign-born share.
QR scan events
Timestamped, geolocated scans from campaign QR codes, attributed to the screen that earned them.
Delivered as JSON over REST, scheduled exports (CSV/JSON), or a live stream — scoped per partner. Coverage today: the Syracuse network; expanding across New York State and New Jersey.
Who uses it
Built for decisions that depend on real presence.
- Retail & site selection. Compare real foot traffic across neighborhoods before you sign a lease.
- Real estate. Value a storefront on measured visits, not a traffic-count guess.
- CPG & brands. See when and where your customers actually show up, by venue category.
- Agencies & media. Plan on-premise placements with live occupancy instead of monthly estimates.
- Cities & transit. Understand when neighborhoods are busy, block by block, without cameras.
- Researchers. A continuous, anonymous presence dataset across dozens of venues.
How access works
- 01Tell us what you needVenues or geography, datasets, cadence and format — the form takes two minutes.
- 02Scoping call and sampleWe confirm coverage, share a sample extract, and agree terms and pricing.
- 03Provisioned accessCredentials and documentation for your endpoints or exports, with a named contact.
Privacy, by design
- Sensors count presence. They do not capture images, faces, or identities.
- Everything leaves the platform as aggregate counts per venue and time window.
- Demographics are census statistics for the area around a screen, not about individuals.
- QR events carry no account identity.
